Storms For Sunday... Some Could Be Severe  05
-17
12pm
It's been more then a year since we have had severe storms in the local area, but that could change over the weekend.  Dan Hawblitzel, a meteorologist with the National weather Service in
Kansas City says there is a potential for severe weather both Sunday and Monday.
<Audio: Dan Hawblitzel 1>
Hawblitzel says you don’t necessarily need to change your plans for Sunday, but you need to be weather aware.
<Audio: Dan Hawblitzel 2>
A few things to think about include seeking cover if lightning is seen nearby, think about how you can take cover if you are outside when severe weather strikes and if you are inside, at home, work or someplace else, what is the best place to take cover.
Ideally you want to be on the lowest level of a permanent structure, in an interior room with no windows.

Cox says the school staff acted properly and in accordance with the training they have received and worked together in restraining the woman as she continued her screaming, yelling, threats, and attempts of assault.  The Deputies arrived took custody of the woman who allegedly resisted arrest, assaulted a deputy, and continued in her foul and violent manner even threatening to shoot one of our deputies in the head.
