North Central Missouri Mental Health Center is hosting a parenting class May 1st called  "Building Relationships in a Blended Family". To register call 660-359-4487

 

The Livingston County Women United meet May 1st at 9:30 a.m. at 1414 Walnut Street in Chillicothe.

 

A Veterans Service Officer will be at the Trenton VFW hall May 1st from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. to help with V.A. paperwork. Please bring all V.A. paperwork and military separation paperwork. Active military is also welcome to attend to ask questions and get help.

 

May 2

The 4th Annual Model Train and Railroad Memorabilia Show will be at the Walsworth Community Center in Marceline May 2nd from 9:00am to 4:00pm with the Santa Fe Modelers Mini-Meet and lots of vendors.

 

The local chapter of the Christian Motorcycle Association will hold their annual "Run for the Son" ride May 2nd. They will leave from the old JC Penny parking lot in Trenton at 9:30 a.m.

 

May 3

2015 Tria Sorosis Homes Tour is May 3rd from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. All proceeds will go to the Tria Sorosis Student Benefit Fund. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased by calling 646-3658 or 646-5794

The Green Hills Community Action Women's Health Services is holding a clinic May 4th at 511 Elm in Chillicothe from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at 1:30 to 5:00 p.m. For an appointment call 660-359-2855

 

The Chillicothe Board of Adjustments meets May 4th at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chamber at Chillicothe City Hall.

 

The Chillicothe Planning and Zoning Commission meets May 4th at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Chillicothe City Hall.

A retirement reception for Marj Locker is May 7th at 7:00 p.m. Southwest School in Ludlow.

 

The Livingston County Commission will meet May 7th at 9:30 a.m. in the Livingston County Commission room in Chillicothe.

A professionally judged art show and exhibit will be May 9th - 14th from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. each day at the Livingston County Library second floor Courtroom. For more information call 660-646-1173

 

The Chillicothe Garden Club is hosting their annual Plant Sale May 9th at 9:00 a.m. at Simpson Park.

 

Tryouts will be held for Senior and Junior Legion Summer baseball teams May 9th from 9:00 a.m. to noon and May 10th from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Shaffer Park.

 

May 16

A 5k color run is May 16th at 9:00 a.m. in Gallatin. Check-in will be at 8:30 a.m. In the case of inclement weather the event will be moved to May 30th. For more information call 663-2423
